That time of the year is coming up again: the 2016 Grammys! It’s hard to know who’s looking forward to it more: the musicians or the fans. We’re excited for this star-studded event and can’t wait to see whose performances will blow us away. Until the Grammys air on Monday, February 15th, we’ll be full of anticipation. This big night, which will be hosted by LL Cool J, is bound to have some memorable performances. Here are a few Grammy 2016 performances that were anxiously anticipating:

1) Performance to Honor Lionel Richie

In a perfect blend of vocal talent, four incredible stars plan to sing a tribute to the great Lionel Richie. Who are these four stars you might ask? The stage will be graced by none other than John Legend, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor and Luke Bryan. These four talented singers are all huge fans of Lionel Richie and are very moved at the opportunity to dedicate their performance to him. This performance will also be the Grammy debut for Demi, Luke and Meghan. It’s hard to believe that these talented musicians have never performed at the Grammys, but we’re excited to see the magic they create this year.

2) Gwen Stefani Will Make History

Don’t skip over those commercial breaks! Trust us, you won’t want to miss Gwen Stefani’s new revolutionary music video. You may be wondering what is so unique about this new video. The video for her upcoming solo single “Make Me like You” will be the first video to be created on live television! It will include multiple sets and real-time costume changes. There will also be some “special surprises for fans.” We’re on the edges on our seats wondering what these “surprises” will be. If you want to see the action unfolding from a different point of view, you will be able to do so on Snapchat, Periscope and Facebook Live. Gwen Stefani is partnering with Target to make this video, and a deluxe version of her new album This Is What the Truth Feels Like will be sold at Target as well. This music video is sure to be ground-breaking.

3)  Lady Gaga Will Perform In Honor of David Bowie

Before David Bowie passed away, it was already planned that Lady Gaga would perform at the Grammys. Once David Bowie passed away, the executive producer of the Grammys Ken Ehrlich knew that the night needed a performance honoring him. And Lady Gaga was deemed the vocalist for the job. Lady Gaga has always been an avid Bowie fan. She gained a lot of her inspiration for her music and artwork through Bowie. Combine this passion with Gaga’s incredible vocal talent and you’ve got the perfect person to sing this heartwarming tribute. According to Ehrlich, Lady Gaga will sing “at least three or four” of David Bowie’s songs. This is bound to be an incredible performance that will have audience members and television viewers alike shedding a few tears.

From the heart wrenching David Bowie tribute to the performances that just make you want to get up and dance, this year’s Grammys will be unforgettable. The event is right around the corner and we can’t wait to see all of the incredible performances. Make sure to tune in on Monday!
